UN DAY lunch

On Friday, October 24, CAFICS hosted its UN Day luncheon, bringing together around 50 retired and active UN civil servants. A special thank-you goes to our colleague Abbas Rizvin for graciously organizing this convivial gathering.

The President and the Guest of Honour, Ms. Marisa Collis, President of the ICAO Staff Association, addressed the participants to pay tribute to the United Nations and its enduring mission.

It was a pleasure to reconnect with longtime colleagues and friends while enjoying the excellent French cuisine at Chez Levêque. Some members travelled from afar to join us — Evangeline Kiltz from Victoria, BC; Balasubramaniam Murali from Oakville, ON; and Arthur Graham from Ottawa, ON. Their presence added a special touch to this memorable occasion.
